This is now previous generation model. I got it for well under 0. I still highly recommend it.
BTW, I upgraded mine to 2gig.

Very happy with purchase. I bought this because I needed a portable computer to use around the house. I find myself using it in bed a-lot instead of having to go to the computer room. It’s small and compact, I purchased a small mouse to go with it. My husband has used it a few times too because it’s so lightweight and simple to pick up and access. The battery life is very long and I only need to plug in overnight so I’m happy with this. I do wish the screen on the computer was bigger, but that was one of the main reasons I purchased this computer I wanted something very small and easy to use.
My husband did not understand why I wanted such this small computer with no DVD burner (or other major features), but now that he sees that I just want to surf the web and check FB and e-mail… he understands. So he’s happy that I’m happy. I love when he picks up my computer and uses it sometimes, he’s very savvy about computer gadgets so I know he likes my little computer too.
My only complaint is that I did not purchase the pink colored computer… but overall I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
My other complaint is that the computer came with a lot of unnecessary programs that my husband had to uninstall before I started using the computer so it can go faster.

Push upward on the corner next to the VGA out jack, so it can get out. And there you have it! I’ve been using mine for a few hours now, downloading updates & installing programs I want. The battery was charged to 98% right out of the box so after testing the AC adapter I unplugged it to test the battery capacity. I had to bump up the screen brightness (a shortcut off the keyboard, which I appreciated) to be able to see things clearly. With brightness at maximum, the processor working overtime installing and uninstalling programs to customize the computer for my needs, after about 3 hours the battery is still only at 83%. Nice.

I have had my Toshiba N205-N325BL for a week. I had never used a laptop before so the touch pad took some getting used to. I have since purchased a mouse and external DVD to use with it. The user manual is a file on the internal disk so learning how to find my way around the laptop and Windows 7 was a challenge but I doubt if any computers come with a hard copy user manual anymore. I called Qwest to get help configuring my DSL modem for wireless and they even helped me with the laptop. It only took a few minutes to get it all working. I have had no problem with the netbook and am very happy with my purchase. I had considered the ASUS for a long time but the negative customer reviews regarding the AC adapter/charger and their customer service convinced me the Toshiba was a better choice. I don’t think it’s fair to give the Toshiba a bad review based on Windows 7 Starter. Toshiba doesn’t make Windows and all the netbooks with Windows 7 Starter will have the same restrictions. If you want all the bells and whistles of a full sized laptop then buy a laptop and not a netbook.

I purchased this laptop to use when traveling to access my email and read items on the internet. It has fullfilled my expectations. I also find I am using it around the house instead of my desktop. Great purchase.
