ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1201N-PU17-SL 12.1-Inch Silver Netbook - 5 Hours of Battery Life
I bought this for two reasons.
1. to have a lightweight, yet usable portable to lug around while traveling.
2. to be able to stream internet video to my TV in France (where I live) and where the VOD via internet market is dominated by Windows.
It is quite satisfactory in both respects. Compared to my iMac, it is, as expected, a bit slow on ordinary operations like opening files, and Windows in frustrating, but I’m getting used to it.

i bought my dell 12 in. mini for work. i love it! it’s light,small enough to fit in my backpack easily, the screen is bright and the resolution is awesome! if dell can make a mini with a dvd burner/player it would be perfect!!!

  • 1GB DDR2 RAM
  • 80GB Hard Drive (capacity without operating system)
  • Windows XP Home, 3 Hour Lithium Ion Battery

goods - by far the battery life, good size and light weight, Blutooth ready
evil - terrible speaker (can not be overcome with headphones), keyboard uncomfortable positions (prone to typing errors), poor to gather wifi weak signal...
