I’ve had this netbook for several months now and LOVE it!

I bought this for two reasons.
1. to have a lightweight, yet usable portable to lug around while traveling.
2. to be able to stream internet video to my TV in France (where I live) and where the VOD via internet market is dominated by Windows.
It is quite satisfactory in both respects. Compared to my iMac, it is, as expected, a bit slow on ordinary operations like opening files, and Windows in frustrating, but I’m getting used to it.

Asus Eee PC 1008P-KR-PU17-BR 10.1-Inch Intel Atom Netbook Computer (Coffee Brown) Review

I did a good deal of reading and research before purchasing this ASUS Eee. I was attracted by the 2 gigs of RAM that were included, allowing a full version of Windows 7 to run. It is light, easy to tote around, and full featured — right down to the webcam. The tracker pad is comfy and responsive. Display is not sharp and gorgeous like bigger computers, but it is more than adequate for my portable computing purposes. This is not a desktop replacement, but how great for business trips and vacation — can’t wait to use it for offloading photos while traveling using the built-in SD card slot!

I bought this small, portable PC for my wife. She absolutely loves it. It suites all her needs and doesn’t slow her down with its easy travel dimensions. The stylish design also fits her lifestyle and makes all her friends envious.
From a technical standpoint, it runs great especially after adding a 2Gb RAM card.

I was looking for a cheap 32-bit Windows XP based PC for my business and this fit the bill perfectly. It fired right up and the only problem we’ve had is getting it to network with the rest of our Vista machines. But after some tinkering, it is working like it should. A fine product.

Disney Netpal by ASUS - 8.9-Inch Magic Blue Netbook - 5 Hour Battery Life Review

I purchased this for my five year old granddaughter who is quite savvy and knowledgeable with the computer. It is absolutely the real deal, exquisitely constructed and child (and grandma) friendly. She loves it, uses it all the time for games, pics, emails. It was worth every single cent. A++++ rating!

This is a great computer to take to a hotel…. It is not meant for solid home use; the keyboard is too small, and the memory isn’t great.

Bought this for our 6 year old son for Christmas. It was easy to set up, and it is easy for him to run. I recommend getting a mouse for it…kind of hard for him to control what he is doing with out it….Over all huge hit!!!
