I bought this to have something on the go that can last a long time and it does that. I did have problems trying to get online, but function F1 fixed that right up for me. Besides that getting used to the smaller keyboard takes all of an hour or so. As for the speed, its quick enough. Just wondering if upgrading the speed will be worth it on this little guy. Long story short, it looks good, the case is nice and it came quick. Thanks.

I have a lot of research before buying this netbook. The sale was the large size of the keyboard. I was not expecting anything great, because after all is still a small machine with 1 GB of memory.
I must say I am pleasantly surprised with my purchase. The keyboard is perfect size, much better than the competition.
If you are buying this netbook, the purpose of reading e-mail and surf the web I recommend.
The only thing I added that the Microsoft Office package and works very well.
Purchased this Acer as a second netbook. I plan on keeping it in the kitchen with all of my recipes so as to minimize clutter. I also have an 8.9″ Acer for everyday use and travel.
I love the screen. No weird aspect ratio so it doesn’t affect viewing certain programs, like Cricut Design Studio. On my other Acer I had to scroll to see the entire screen. You’d think the small size would matter, but it doesn’t. The clarity of the screen makes up for the size.

ordered online - sight unseen - my first netbook - after reading several positive reviews. In addition to its light weight (fundamental), it was a decent keyboard - essential for my large fingers - and a good set of speakers.
In truth, the speaker is not so great, but it was not so important. I like the color and the keyboard. The small size will take some 'getting used to - but I travel a lot - all modes of transport - including cycling, busing, walking - and I can literally wear these days, it is difficult to notice them. This is really the coolest part.
The forerunner of the mini-empire netbook, Asus, now comes another: The Asus Eee PC 1000HE. The 1000HE has enjoyed the distinction as one of our Top 5 GPS Navigation for 2009. This is the account of the performance, durability, flexibility and of course, its impressive price.
For starters, has the Asus EEE PC 1000HE followed the tradition of Asus. It is equipped with an Intel Atom N280 processor. This processor runs at a speed of 1.66 gigahertz. This high speedis supported by a memory of 1 gigabyte. For the purpose of storage of the Asus EEE PC 1000HE is with a hard drive can store up to 160 gigabytes worth of files provided.

Netbook product Awesome. I bought, in addition to the appropriate mini CD / DVD. I bought it to use when traveling, because I was sick to make its full size notebook. The keyboard feels great for the Netbook. Upload program is quick and easy. Run as fast as one might expect from the CPU. Taps fixed charge lasted 5 hours (should be 7 +, but I thought that 5 is excellent). Only disadvantages are: adequately thin disk consumes 2 3 Samsung USB slot, power cords would take too much space - should be a thick cable with a very short cord longer and thinner, so that takes up less space and Biggie - speakers to be better than Latest version is still very bad - use headphones or speakers for your mp3 player for a good sound. An important note: It 'features a neoprene little as a cover for the transport / protection when traveling. Do not know why it is not mentioned in any of the descriptions.

I spent many days and hours looking for the right netbook for me. After much research I ordered this netbook from Amazon. I totally love it. And 'everything I wanted. It's easy, not too hot and I like the keyboard. A large part of the netbooks I looked at were cheap looking. What looked like a toy. Some were already disintegrated in stores. And quality. It has everything you want in a netbook. I am very satisfied with the quality of this little computer.

I’ve been using mine for a few hours now, downloading updates & installing programs I want. The battery was charged to 98% right out of the box so after testing the AC adapter I unplugged it to test the battery capacity. I had to bump up the screen brightness (a shortcut off the keyboard, which I appreciated) to be able to see things clearly. With brightness at maximum, the processor working overtime installing and uninstalling programs to customize the computer for my needs, after about 3 hours the battery is still only at 83%. Nice.

Want to buy this if it comes with XP (Asus C'mon … you know better!)
Net book is impressive …. big screen. …. 2 GB of RAM
But wait, the hardware store in Vista?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo …..
So I want to buy them! But we all know what it will be slow …
Now, when I came with XP, I would be a big, beautiful netbook scream out of the box.
(>.<) Dang. I think the downgrade to XP in some way?
